Malaka is a Board Certified Orthopedic and Interventional Spine Physician Assistant. She studied biochemistry for her undergraduate, completed her Bachelor's degree in three years, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Dalton State College in 2014. She soon moved to Knoxville, TN to complete her education as a Physician Assistant, and graduated in the top 10 of her class. She worked in the emergency department and orthopedic surgery simultaneously when she first graduated, as she received more training in orthopedics, she focused her career solely on orthopedics and spine. Malaka is passionate about helping patients through all walks of life. She is bilingual in English and Arabic. In her free time, she volunteers her time to non-profit clinical organizations, plays tennis with her husband, or takes her baby boy to the park.
