Dr. Robert Karsch is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 25 years of experience serving Atlanta, Georgia, and its surrounding communities. As an extremity and sports medicine specialist, he provides comprehensive surgical care for shoulder, arm, elbow, wrist, knee, hip, and sports injuries. He also specializes in diagnosing and treating fractures and trauma.

Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Karsch earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his orthopaedic residency at Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. A recipient of the Richard Selznick Award for Outstanding Research in Orthopaedics, he has been recognized by his peers as a top orthopedic surgeon in Atlanta Magazine's Top Doctor annually from 2010 to 2023.

Dr. Karsch has provided orthopedic consultation to academic and corporate institutes, including MARTA, Keebler, Waffle House, Marshall, Winn-Dixie, Spelman College, Morehouse College, and multiple area high schools.

In his practice, Dr. Karsch offers in-office x-rays and treatments such as ultrasound-guided HA injections, Cortisone injections, and PRP injections. As a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon, he also performs surgical interventions when necessary, including ACL reconstruction, Carpal Tunnel Release, Joint Replacement surgeries, Rotator Cuff Repair, Meniscus Repair, and Arthroscopic surgery for the knee, shoulder, elbow, wrist, and ankle.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Dr. Robert Karsch has since relocated to Atlanta, where he raised his two children and currently resides with his wife of over 30 years.
